Burn

The flames shot higher.as the fire roared the smoke billowing all around. Wailing people looked up to the sky and asked why as tears made lines down their dirty cheeks. Children huddled together on the ashy ground wondering what they would do now. Homes were broken and dreams were torn. But one thing remained. Hope. It was the spark on every persons tongue. The reason they could smile through the pain. Above everything else they knew that all of this was temporary they would go to their home in the sky. Some sooner than others on that day

It seems that the less I care the happier I am. It's not that I don't want to look good it's just that I don't care what people think any more. I'm going to be me and that's all their is to it. If someone doesn't like who I am than they can just deal with it because I don't care a bit.

I ran Ragnar this weekend with my cross country team! It was one of the hardest most accomplishing things I have ever done. I cannot wait to do it again next year:)

This day has been very bad. I got yelled at and just feel down. I hate days like this where all you want to do is crawl into a blanket sit and think. How do things like this happen? you are having a perfectly fine week and the one day you need people there the most they aren't. I wish it would rain. It's a wierd thing to want on a bad day but it would match my mood so perfect it's the thing I want most right now.

Sometimes I wonder

Sometimes I wonder why I'm me. Why did I get chosen as the person I am. What would my life be like if I was born as what we consider a nerd, or if I had a low self esteem. Would I be treated differently woulfd the friends I have now still love me. Sometimes I wonder these things and I know that if I was different I would still be loved and I would still be somehow me.
